Acıbadem Health Group

Acıbadem Holding or Acıbadem Healthcare Investments Holding A.Ş., Istanbul-based holding company. The chairman of the board of directors of the company is Mehmet Ali Aydınlar, the former head of TFF. The foundations of the holding were laid in 1991 with the opening of Acıbadem Kadıköy Hospital in Istanbul. With the opening of Acıbadem Bağdat Caddesi Medical Center in 1995, it turned into a chain health group and continued its growth by opening medical centers in various places in the following years. It started trading on the ISE in 2000. With an agreement signed in 2011, Singapore-based Integrated Healthcare Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (IHH) holds the majority of the company's shares. In addition, there are educational and social responsibility activities with a foundation organization named Acıbadem Health and Education Foundation, which bears the name of the holding. Acıbadem University was established in this direction.
